Tuition Assistance

The biggest problem associated with tutors and tuition coordinators is the commitment they can give to your child. Since there is no legal contract or bond for the term of service, a tutor can withdraw his services anytime he needs. Suppose if the tutor gets another student paying a higher fee, then the student he is currently teaching is left stranded.

It`s an issue of concern for today`s parents who hire a tutor for their child`s success because their child can just be dropped from the list for the reason that the tutor is getting a higher pay from another party. So some sort of tuition assistance has to be provided in this case. One solution is to strike up an agreement with the tutor with some people as witnesses. A typed agreement or legal statement signed by both the parties can be of help in the mentioned regard. Here, both the sides can agree upon the term of service for the tuition. And even if the tutor wants to quit, a month`s notice has to be served in advance. Also, there should be some flexibility with the terms of the statement.

Alternatively, the tutor can be allowed to stop teaching on a condition that he must continue his work until the parents of the child have found a new tutor as his or her replacement. This prevents a situation where your child is left unattended without a tutor.  Some tuition agencies provide tuition assistance. Agencies are the organizations that who specialize in introducing tutors to those who are in need. These agencies do have a term of agreement with the tutors they have, pertaining to their commitment and hence the tutor can`t withdraw his services abruptly.
