All lessons must be prepared and structured well in advance.
Tutors must deal with queries from clients in a helpful and professional manner at all times. When clients leave message/s for the tutor via email or telephone, the tutor MUST reply as soon as possible, even if that is to say they are not available for tuition.
All tutors must timetable an extra fifteen (15) minutes with the first lesson in order to discuss pupil needs, tuition arrangements and tuition fees. As a matter of courtesy to clients, we ask that tutors do not charge for this extra time.
Tutors must ensure they are sufficiently resourced and appropriately dressed. We recommend that tutors dress smart for every lesson.
Tutors must arrive to lessons on time. We recommend that you arrive five (5) minutes early, and leave on time. If tutors anticipate they are going to be more than fifteen (15) minutes late, then they must inform the client prior to making the journey or when practicable during the journey. The period of time late must be made up at the end of the lesson or at another date.
I will ensure that I carry myself in a professional manner at all times whilst providing tuition to a client.
I shall ensure an adult is present for the entire duration of the lesson, when tutoring a minor (aged under 18).
I certify that I do NOT have a criminal record. [All CRB checks (police check) must not be more than three years old].
