Payment Types

The following services on Home Tutors requires payment:

- Registering as a tutor
All new tutors must pay a fee to be listed in the tutor directory. You can use all major credit cards and debit cards and also PayPal to register.

- Using the Tutor Matching Service
Home Tutors charges a small fee to provide a customised tutor match. We take care of all the initial communications between the tutor and you. However, you can also submit a free tutor request on the Request a Tutor page.

- Buying books, stationery and posters
We advertise third party products such as books and stationery from Amazon.co.uk. We also sell products of our own such as these posters.

All other services and facilities are completely free. They include; access to the tutor directory, tutor request submissions to the Request a Tutor directory, access to the worksheet bank, quarterly newsletters, tutoring and games forum, and the resource planet.
