How it works

Please use the search facility of the website to find a list of tutors on our database. Using the contact details of the tutors please arrange tuition directly with the tutors.

You may decide to arrange tuition with more than one tutor in order to find the best tutor suitable for your needs. Or you may choose to contact a number of tutors to have a brief chat on the phone before you arrange any lessons. We leave it up to you to decide, giving you the flexibility of negotiating the tuition fees (see recommended fees page) and tuition arrangements.

There is no limit to how many tutors you can contact, however, once lessons are agreed then please honour these agreements.

If you are not able to find a suitable tutor, you can also use our Request A Tutor. There`s also a paid service that allows you to have Home Tutors arrange a tutor on your behalf. To learn more please visit the Request a Tutor section.

Home Tutors does not charge you a registration fee. All tuition fees are paid directly to the tutors at the end of each tuition.
