Add Additional Features link
Tutors can try out other membership features and pay per no. of months. This facility is very useful especially when tutors
run out of Bump Up credits or SMS credits.
Note: This link becomes inactive seven days before the end of your membership.
Edit Profile Tab
Change your contact numbers, minimum tuition fee your willing to accept, days you're available and your statements.
Renew Account Tab
You can renew your account from seven days before the end of your tutor membership. If you don't renew your membership then you will stop appearing in search results. However, you will still be able to login and renew at a later date.
When you enter the Renew Account tab you will be presented with a set of membership options.
Note: If you would like to add any extra features to your membership before your membership expires then you can do that by clicking on the
Add Additional Features link.
Live Whiteboard Tab
Tutors can use the Live Tutoring
Whiteboard in the same way as the Interactive Whiteboards (IWB) found
in schools and colleges. You can text chat with your students, draw
shapes and figures, change the colour of the pen, rub and delete, save
and load boards, and much much more. If you go on to purchasing a
Graphics Pad
(an alternative to using a mouse to write with) you will find Live
Tutoring a breeze, helping you to tutor anyone living anywhere in the
world!
Tutors will need to send an invitation from the whiteboard to students in order to initiate a live tutoring session. Click on the 'Invite' button on the Whiteboard and type the email address of the students you wish to invite.

Special Functions Tab
Here you will have access to the
Tutor Request Database and the Bump Up credits. When you click on the Tutor Request Database button you will be taken to another page where you can search
the database according to various search criteria. Contact details of clients is accessible via the 'view full request' link.
Note: All recent tutor requests are listed last.
Refresh button (Bump Up credits)
Tutors who have
purchased Bump Up credits (or Refresh credits) will be able to jump up to the top of tutor search results once they push the Refresh button. However, you will start climbing down the list when other tutors join Home Tutors or when
existing tutors decide to use their Refresh credits.
Change Status Button
Pressing the Change Status button makes your tutoring status either Active or Inactive. When you are Active you will appear in search results. This function
is particularly useful if a tutor wants to stop providing tuition or if the tutor wants to take a break. You can de-activate your status
whenever you want. There?s no limit to how many times you can do this during your membership. However, when your membership expires then this function is rendered useless.
Please note: If you are made 'Inactive' by Home Tutors administrators then you will lose
the ability to activate your status. Please contact Home Tutors if you don't know why you have been made Inactive.
